Contemporary Art Workshop
The Contemporary Art Workshop, which has been operating for more than a decade, aims to train and develop students interested in fine and media arts.
The facility has now become the region’s most successful artistic talent development workshop, proving this with international and domestic successes.
Since the workshop’s inception, all students studying here have been admitted to the art institution of their choice, both higher and secondary schools. This means an average of 5-7 students per year.
In terms of our operations, we generally hold two creative camps during the summer break, and we organize several workshops throughout the year. In addition to all this, we organize a large exhibition every year, where we present the annual work and successes.
The training takes place weekly, on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Main areas of education:
- Fine arts – painting, graphics (also preparation for admission)
- Visual arts – analog and digital photography, graphic design, electronic imaging
- Media arts – film, animated film
The education is led by artist Zsolt Bankó, who is the head of museum education at Festetics Castle and the founding art teacher of the Workshop.
