Szántódpuszta Manor
Located about 70 km from Keszthely, between Balatonföldvár and Zamárdi, opposite the Tihany Peninsula, lies Szántód.
Here you will find Szántódpuszta, the “living manor,” where visitors can explore the daily life of a 150–200-year-old estate and its community—and even experience it firsthand!
About 13 buildings and structures of the manor have been restored and enriched with various services, allowing visitors to travel back to the 19th century and experience the heritage of historical farming and rural life in its original setting.
Come and immerse yourself in the golden age of a traditional manor, relax in a peaceful countryside environment, explore our interactive exhibitions, try equestrian services, learn the craft of blacksmithing, or discover the art of bread-making!

For younger visitors, the proximity of free-roaming animals, the Rostalika playground, and the barefoot Kneipp trail make the experience especially enjoyable. For school groups, we organize museum-educational programs.

The manor was renovated as part of the project “Development of Szántódpuszta Manor Buildings and Establishment of Visitor Center – Phase I” (GINOP-7.1.9-17-2018-00010).
